Buddy Hicks you have captured the essence of Americas downward spiral and if anyone thinks that we all just need a good hug and another round or kumbaya they are very much mistaken. You will recall that I taught on the subject (s) having to do with ones world view and the current struggle for the soul of America. The counter culture movement among the hippies was a real threat to the future of Americas soul. The prophets of the anarchists like Saul Alinsky and Bill Ayers were calling for the overthrow of America and replace it with a socialistic/communist state. They wanted America to suffer for the wrong doings they committed against all people on the face of the earth. There were prophets/teachers/apologists who warned America about the rise of the anarchists. There were two such individuals, which I spent a great deal of time sharing their teachings having to o with an opposing world view of the anarchists ; the late Francis Schaffer and Winkie Pratney. In Schaeffers Escape from Reason he warned that when 51 percent of a democracy/Republic discover that they can vote to receive all they need to survive with out working for it you have lost your democracy/republic. He also warned that a world view which rejected the premise of real rights and real wrongs/absolutes was gaining a foot-hold upon the West; particularly in America! With the death of reason a nation is ripe for manipulation from an elite who feel they, and only they, have the brilliance to control the gum chewing public. He offers an astounding understanding of the development of historical shifts in a nation which goes undetected by the majority. Americas journey towards a socialistic state from a Constitutionally based nation is now upon us! Philosophers, writers, musicians, educators, and even pastors have been espousing this world view for centuries. Those who were part of the Jesus Movement in Houston might recall another profound apologist, Winkie Pratney who was part of our ongoing discipleship schools. He shared this statement at the closing days of the Jesus Movement, The anarchists like Saul Alinsky and others warned their followers to wise up. They must stop boming, burning, and rioting against capitalism. They knew that they didnt have enough guns, tanks, bombs. The realized that the Establishment couldnt be defeated in this manner. They told the long hairs to cut their hair, put on their suits, go back to college in order to be instructed and equipped to infiltrate the culture. They were instructed to control the seven mountains of power in America and thus bringing about the collapse of the Constitutional, free enterprise/market underpinnings of America. Alinskys book Rules for Radicals lists the eight levels of control that must be made before one can change America into a Socialistic State. This book became the Bible for todays progressives. Saul Alinsky died about 42 years ago, but his writings influenced those in political control of our nation today. Who was Saul Alinsky? Saul David Alinsky, a writer, was an American community organizer and writer. He is generally considered to be the Communist radical, socialist founder of the modern community organizing movement. He is most noted for his book Rules for Radicals. In case you hadnt noticed, all eight rules are currently in play. Can we turn around the eight socialist Communist state agendas that have been insidiously injected into our culture? How to create a Communist social state by Saul Alinsky: There are eight levels of control that must be obtained before you are able to create a social state. The first is the most important. 1) Healthcare “Control healthcare and you control the people.” 2) Poverty “Increase the Poverty level as high as possible, poor people are easier to control and will not fight back if you are providing everything for them to live.” 3) Debt “Increase the debt to an unsustainable level. That way you are able to increase taxes, and this will produce more poverty.” 4) Gun Control“Remove the ability to defend themselves from the Government. That way you are able to create a police state.” 5) Welfare “Take control of every aspect of their lives (Food, Housing, and Income).” 6) Education “Take control of what people read and listen to. “Take control of what children learn in school.” 7) Religion “Remove the belief in the God from the Government and schools.” 8) Class Warfare “Divide the people into the wealthy and the poor. This will cause more discontent and it will be easier to take (Tax) the wealthy with the support of the poor.” Does any of this sound like what is happening to the United States? It should! It is the method of operation of the Democrat Party and RINOs! Alinsky merely simplified Vladimir Lenins original scheme for world conquest by Communism, under Russian rule. Stalin described his converts as Useful Idiots. The Useful Idiots have destroyed every nation in which they have seized power and control. It is presently happening at an alarming rate in the U.S.. It may be too late to reverse the decline. Recall that Hillary Rodham Clinton wrote her college thesis on his writings and Barak Hussein Obama writes about him in his books. I apologize for my lengthy blabbing but I am most burdened about the fate of America. An uninformed and disinterested voter-ship is a sure sign that we are in the midst of uncharted waters as a Nation. It is my opinion that nothing short of a Visitation of God in America is our only hope!
