Buddy Rojek It upsets me no end that Australians cant digest the fact that we have a Constitution which governs our Federal Goverment in their laws that they can legally pass under the Constitution. The rabble of so called patriotic Australians were obviously asleep in their civics class, or too lazy to learn the basic law, so that they can understand what they can demand from their leaders. The dumbing down of the Australian public during election time to appeal to the local footy or netball club seeking funding, is a disgrace. If we want to control religious practice, a practice that may or may not condone violence (We need a Royal Commision on this to decipher an Arabic version of their Koran), we need a constitutional convention on Islam, and if found to be violent, we need to update this section 116 (Religion) of the constitution to control it. If it is truly found to be a religion of peace, then the people inciting hatred (Their incorrect version of the Koran found to be grounds for classifying their beliefs a Death Cult )should be prosecuted.
