Budget proposes Plan expenditure of Rs 5,75,000 crore for current ficsal i.e for the next seven months of this financial year that ends on 31st March 2015. Emphasis has been given on creating assets in the form of infrastructure such as roads, rails, airports, and 100 smart cities to cater to a growing middle class population that are moving in from rural areas. Emphasis is being given on manufacturing sector on a Private Public Partnership and Foreign Direct Investment, to tide over our ever growing demands for consumer and consumer durables. Taxes have been lowered or altogether done away with on many items including electronic products and computers, which alone stands at $ 200 Billion each year in India and which in another six years at 2020 will double to $400 Billion (no wonder china is getting richer and richer at Indias expense). So manufacturing on electronic goods is a must.
