Budgeting is the key to financial freedom (oh and working helps, too. ;) ). You can squeeze the most out of those pennies and live with a lot more peace with a good budget! Chris and I started budgeting well in 2011-- and without an increase of income at that time, stopped living paycheck to paycheck but starting paying down debt, saving up, and buying things we needed. In 3 years we paid off my student loans (a modest amount for mine but still), bought and paid off two used cars, bought an HE washer and dryer (which wed saved for), began buying a house, and started a family. We also continued to tithe and give to other ministries along the way. Proof that its more about how you use your money than the dollar amount you make!!! The earth is the Lord’s, and everything in it, the world, and all who live in it-- Psalm 24:1 We are only stewards of the money God has given us, so shouldnt we try to use it wisely?
