Buenos dia! In the #Telemundo narco/cosmetology novela #SenoraAcero, if I was Sara, Id start going through my high-school yearbook looking for pictures of a geeky, awkward El Teca, and try to remember my encounters with him. I am convinced that El Teca had a major crush on Sara in high school. Based upon my extensive knowledge of teenage melodramas, and Saras generally kind disposition, Im guessing that in high school El Teca was the male version of Carrie without the telekenetic powers, and Sara was the beautiful and popular Amy Irving figure who was aware of El Teca and was kind to him, but not interested in him at all romantically. Sara was of course dating the handsome but sociopathic quarterback who was awful to El Teca when Sara wasnt looking. So now El Teca has grown up, sees a dermatologist, got in shape, got revenge on everyone who was mean to him in high school with El Indios help, successfully crossed over from puberty, and is now a very powerful and wealthy drug kingpin and cartel boss who can apparently have anything he wants (except a decent interior decorator), and he wants Sara. So he has killed her boyfriend Elio and framed her for his murder, thus eliminating his competition and putting her on the run. And hes planning on her running right for his ranch, with all of those awful paintings and sculptures and tchotchkes all over the place. (Honestly, I have not seen such an awful decorating scheme in a telenovela Narcotrafficante since I saw Chacortas kitchen in #ElSenorDeLosCielos, where he has inexplicably recreated the life-size version of the Manhattan skyline on one wall.) This seems like an extremely complicated scheme just to get a date, especially the part where she had to escape from the police. (Luckily for Sara, she had paid close attention when Elio had explained to her the elaborate escape plan he devised for just such a moment, including a hidden passage, a huge gun, a drop car and change of clothes.) Whatever happened to Chinese food and a movie? Although I have to admit I am a little jealous because El Teca put a lot of thought, planning and bloodshed into this scheme of his, and except for the part about being framed for murder, what woman doesnt want that once in awhile? I want to tell El Teca something: Be careful what you wish for, because he has not yet seen Sara get angry, so hes in for a surprise there. And he hasnt met her kid yet. Lots of SUERTE, El Teca! A few weeks with this kid and you might long for the Glory Days of high school. I cant wait to see what comes next... Gracias!!
