Buggs Island Lake/Kerr Lake which ever you prefer it’s all about our lake in this year’s Christmas raffle. We all can agree that life is better at the Lake!! Nothing is more fun than spending a day on a kayak or relaxing on a boat. The sunrise & sunsets here are so beautiful and peaceful; it’s what I call a piece of Heaven right here in the heart of Lake Country. Each Christmas the Chamber puts together a fundraiser raffle to help raise money for the Holiday Open House & Christmas Parade events. This Christmas Raffle is filled with items that the winner will enjoy either for them or to give to someone special as a great gift. All gifts were either purchased from a local Chamber merchant or donated by a member of the Chamber. The Grand total of this “Lake Country” Raffle is worth $1000! Can you imagine winning all that for $5, it only takes one ticket to win, but you can buy more tickets to better your chances!! Want a chance to win this raffle, stop by the Chamber office at 105 2nd Street or Virginia Avenue Mall to purchase your ticket! Tickets are $5 for one ticket, three for $12 or buy six for $20. The Chamber will be selling tickets for this “Lake Country Christmas Raffle the day of the Holiday Open House, November 23rd from 1-5, in near the Virginia Avenue Mall. Drawing will be held on December 11th. Need not be present to win. Proceeds from this fundraiser will benefit future project & events in 2015!
