Buhari: I used to think you are Igbo. Amaechi: Never. Tufiakwa. Me, Amaechi, Igbo? General if not that I have a lot of respect for you, I would have surprised you for calling me an Igbo. Buhari: What is wrong with calling you an Igbo man? Amaechi: I was never Igbo and will never be. Please do not repeat it again. I am already losing my temper. Buhari: Ok. Ok. Let us forget it then. Fashola: Alhaji, you can do anything you like to him. You can even kidnap his wife and children. He is fine with that. But please do not call him Yibo. Amaechi: Alhaji, to be honest, if it were to be someone else that said this to me I would have turned this place to Sambissa right now. I was given the name Chibuike when I was doing boy-boy for one Igbo man in PortHarcourt. Buhari: And if I may ask, what about your surname, Amaechi? It sounds like Igbo name. Amaechi: Yes, Amaechi is Igbo name. But it is not my real family name. Amaechi is the family name of my Oga at the Top that I did boy-boy for. Fashola: He explained to me as well. He suffered a lot while growing up. Amaechi: Alhaji that is why I am very stubborn. I am used to being abused, so psychologically, even when you want to help me, my mind tells me you are about to cheat me. Buhari: So how do we help you out of this? I do not have idea of what suffering is. I am a crown prince of Daura. When everybody were using Diploma to get into the Army, I had only pry 4 certificate and they still begged me to join the Army. Amaechi: Well that is what you are suffering now. If they had left you to finish your pry school, at least you will have a certificate today. Fashola: Alhaji, Amaechi is right. He was born with nothing but struggled to succeed. Today no one can insult him over certificate this or that. While you were born with everything but your people never allowed you to struggle. Today you are an embarrassment not only to yourself but to all of us around you. Buhari: How? Fashola: For example, I hosted some school children last week. A 4 years old pupil got up and asked me if it is true that our partys presidential candidate was not able to complete primary school. Buhari: Really? But that was why I enrolled in a primary school last month to complete my basic education. Amaechi: So you are back to school? Buhari: Yes, but I do not know how long it will be. Fashola: How do you mean? Buhari: The condition is too harsh for me. They want me to wear pampers during school hours. Amaechi: But they can waive that for you. Did you not tell them your age? Fashola: Dont they know your age? You are a grandpa for crying out loud... Buhari: That is the problem. Each time I want to finalise my primary education they always make it impossible. And at the end of the day, Nigerians would blame me, not knowing it is not my fault that I do not have First School Leaving Certificate. Fashola: I feel for both of you. Buhari: I have tried a lot to have my certificates but it looks very impossible to accomplish. Fashola: You mean no Northern governor can help you? Not even Kwankwaso? Amaechi: Come and do your primary and secondary school education in Rivers state. I am the Chief Executive of Rivers state. I will tell them to waive wearing of pampers for you. Buhari: Asari Dokubo will kill me. I cant my friend. Moreover, they do not do Arabic studies in Rivers state. Fashola: Then come to Lagos. I can instruct my Commissioner of Education to accelerate your education. They will make it possible for you to get your secondary school certificate in time so you can contest in 2019 presidential election without this kind of embarrassment. Amaechi: Fashola is right. Let us not deceive ourselves. This February election is lost already. Only a compound fool would vote for us to come in and fight corruption when it is very clear that we are the corruption itself. Buhari: I will think about it. Thank you gentlemen.
