Buhl Boosts Substitute Teacher Pay Substitute teachers in Buhl will get paid more, thanks to a unanimous decision Monday night by school trustees. Now, employees will make $85 each day if they have a current or expired teacher’s license or $65 if they don’t. That’s a $10 to $20 increase over previous rates. The reason for the pay increase: “We want to reward the people who work with us.” The new rates will take effect immediately.
