Building Construction and Planning Update: At Mt. Pleasant, brick veneer construction continues on the exterior walls in the Kindergarten-1st grade and administration/ media center sections of the building. In the two-story classroom section, the chilled beam HVAC unit has been installed, drywall is being hung and the first coat of painting has begun. Claypool Electric is continuing rough-in installations and pulling wire in the administration and gymnasium/cafeteria sections as well as installing cables in the first floor of the two-story classroom section. Buckeye Glass Co. has begun storefront and curtain wall window installation in the stairways. At Tarhe Trails, the roof in the Kindergarten-1st grade section of the building is dried in, the masonry walls are being constructed for the interior restrooms, the sprinkler system mains and laterals have been installed and brick veneer is being installed on the outside walls. In the two-story classroom section, the first floor interior corridor walls are complete while the masonry walls continue to be constructed in the administration, gymnasium and cafeteria section. On-Site Concrete has poured the floor in the media center area and in the gymnasium. Claypool Electric is installing primary power conduit to the building and continues installation of rough-ins in all three classroom sections. Spires Paving has laid the bare coat of asphalt in the visitors parking lot. At Gorsuch West, the second floor exterior masonry walls are complete in the two-story classroom section of the building and interior masonry walls are being constructed in the gymnasium section. The roof in the Kindergarten-1st grade section is being dried in. Fox Mechanical is installing HVAC roof curbs in the administration, cafeteria and gymnasium sections and is installing roof drains, interior storm drains and leaders. Underground electric has been installed in the bus parking lot.
