Built a cute little database for my home library using excel. It keeps all of my books in alphabetical order for me, making it easy to categorize them on my shelves like a genuine public library, segregating them by title and genre. I seem to primarily read history and historical biographies and memoirs (being a whopping 47.36% of my entire collection [I like jumping in peoples heads and/or seeing what I can learn on the past....to stand on the shoulders of giants, as Sir Isaac Newton once so eloquently put it]), then business strategy and specialty craft books (for the sake of building marketable skill-sets and mastering my trades like English and Internet Marketing), psychology (like I said, I like jumping in peoples heads), then philosophy, then educational textbooks (excluding mandatory college ones, just the textbooks I have for my own enjoyment), fictional, and political books (like Noam Chomsky, or Zizek) in that order.
