Bullshit thing here, I lost my best mate cuz he was a pot smoker, sorry re phrase that not because of the pot, but he was on a liver transplant waiting list, they found he was smoking pot (FOR PAIN NAUSEA APPITITE) As he was SO sick, and they wouldnt give him any decent pain pills. What do they expect one to do to control their pain or actually survive waiting on the list ... So after he was activated we were all so happy, two weeks in, they see cannabis in his blood, terminated his wait on the list for 6 fkn months!! He wasnt going to survive 2 months without a transplant and they knew that :( they just practically let him die. Reason is the oxycontin pain meds were too strong for his liver, and about 20 yrs ago he was a drug user, but had been clean for several years.... And they just said nope u smoke pot end of story your on hold until u can show us u wont smoke that ... It was actually helping him if he didnt have it, he wouldnt of been able to even move from his bed, mind you he was 34 :( so I remember takin him out front of hospital after he was told he was pretty much just going to die, I took him out for his last smoke.... On a lighter note, my mum received a gift of life, life saving liver transplant almost 2 yrs ago. Its classed as a treatment not a cure, we still have on going health battles but she is well and alive. But has shitty bone density due to so many meds, 57 diff meds to be exact, the prednisalone made her get steroidal induced diabeties, osteoporosis in hips, she is dying to get her hands on some oil that would be therapeutic, because all these bloody pain pills she has to pop aint good plus she doesnt have much of an appitite... Sorry I am just ranting now. Because it really effs me off that my best mate died, because of the pot thing, yeh... Soz
