Bunny Bestie of the day is Flemish Giant Artie! Hi there! Im Artie and I am a gentle giant of a bun. At times I can be full of energy, running and leaping, but I spend a lot of my time relaxing in a favorite corner. When I was staying in a foster home I especially liked hanging out on window sills or other places where I could survey my domain. I love chew toys of all kinds, especially wicker balls and bits of cardboard. Id like nothing better than to have a big cardboard box that I can chew on. While Im not a big fan of being scooped up, I will sit on or next to your lap and will be affectionate when petted, or especially when having his cheeks scratched. Like most bunnies, I feel safest when I have all four feet on the ground. The humans think its also important to mention that Im great about using my litter box. Since Im a big fella though I need a box thats big enough for me to sit in, a larger litter box like a cat box might be better for me. Im not afraid of meeting new people, but Im more likely to watch from a distance than run up to say hello immediately. Although Im an easy going guy Im definitely not afraid to tell you Im annoyed with a loud thump as I hop away. Id like to find a great home with enough space to run, climb, explore and stretch my long legs, but with a cozy hiding spot and lots of chew toys.
