Buongiorno, Italy, relatives, friends. Breakfast - gone are the tomatoes, cucumbers, feta I have had for 3 months. Salami, prosciutto, bacon, breads, and canned fruits. However, 12 kinds of coffee. I had 2, excellent. Redemption. On this journey, I made all hotel reservations in advance. Last hotel was a mistake. Although excellent location, tiny. So claustrophobic, I left early. Wanted to see Lake Como first, before reserving. A gamble. I left bags at restaurant across street from train. Angels everywhere, as Momo, waiter, said hed help. Found hotel and location quickly. Soo beautiful and heavenly and peaceful up here in the mountains next to the serene lake. Switzerland is 3 miles away. I have found my new home!!! I thought I saw a movie star at Milano airport. actually, he and the 3 or 4 tall, handsome, well dressed men were blocking my path. I was using crutches (doctor gave me for knee relief), and said, Excuse me. They split, and I walked right through, while one man looked me in the eyes, and gave me the biggest hypnotic smile. I smiled and stared right back. Later someone told me George Clooney got married here Thursday. So... I will give actors name when I remember. Arrivederci
