Buongiorno. This is the angel that tops a monument dedicated to the workers who died building the Frejus tunnel through the Alps. It is the centerpiece of Piazza Statuto in Turin and the cross it holds is said to have been damaged many times in an attempt to remove it. Because Turin is on the 45th parallel occult experts believe it makes it one of three cities, London and San Francisco being the other two, that form a “black magic” triangle. And Piazza Statuto is considered the “black heart of Turin and the entrance to the Gates of Hell. This idea dates back to the Romans who believed the west, where the sun sets, was the meeting point for light and dark – for good and evil. As Piazza Statuto is the most westerly part of Roman Turin, they chose this place they called vallis occisorum, for their executions and to bury their dead. The remains of the Roman cemetery are under the feet of those who pass this way every day.
