Buongiorno, mia famiglia Il Volo… The phone woke me this morning... It was my son in Germany calling to tell me to get ready for his Skype call in about thirty minutes. As I scrambled to make myself presentable, give Cali her breakfast, fix mine, and wait for call… I thought about my funny dream, what I could remember of it. I had finished writing a comment, pages long, on a fan page thread… people were “liking” and commenting, and then someone asked what it was about. I said I didn’t know – it was in Italian! (Huh?! I wrote in Italian and didn’t know what I was writing? hehehe) I was giggling when the Skype call came, and a splendid hour with my son and 6 and 8 year old grandsons ensued. I was just about to come here, when another call interrupted -- A friend, telling me that Tuesday was set for five of us to get haircuts by her son, an excellent hairdresser… and instead of him coming to her house on the Island as usual, we had to go to his home on the mainland -- which means we’ll have to catch an early ferry. Not an easy task for a late riser. But necessary, and fun. Finally, I am here, anxious to see what exciting news might be waiting… I feel the splendid hour will stretch to make it a splendid day. And that is my wish for all of you – whatever you do – Have a delightful, splendid Sunday!
