Buongiorno, mia famiglia ll Volo… Cali woke me from my delightful dream too soon, although the hour was late. I had been riding my Appaloosa horse, Sunday, along deserted Double Bluff beach, savoring the warm sun and slight breeze caressing my face. An eagle soaring overhead in the cloudless sky caught my eye as he flew toward the bluff and I watched him disappear in the trees. As we rounded a bend, the faint sound of beautiful music drifted to me and as we rode on, the sound became a song, sung by the most gorgeous voices I ever heard. Urging Sunday into a canter, sending the sand flying, I reined her to a sudden stop when I saw in the distance, walking toward us, Ignazio, Gianluca and Piero -- their arms outstretched, beckoning as they sang! I slid off Sunday’s back and stood transfixed as they approached. And just as they were about to reach me – Cali, sitting on my stomach, nudged me awake. Sighing, I petted her. “Wish you’d let me finish that dream..” It was a slightly familiar one, and just maybe if I dream it again sometime -- who knows how it would end! I giggled. Then, as the thought I had only one thing that had to be done before I can “play” in my favorite place, came to me – I jumped out of bed and hurried here to wish all of you – Have a most delightful Sunday!
