Burglary Suspect Apprehended Sheriff Steve Rand reports that on Thursday October 30, 2014 at 12:30pm, Deputies were responding to a 911 call of a burglary that had just occurred in the 3000 Block of West Kimmel Road, Liberty Township. The suspects were eventually located by responding Deputies. The suspect was arrested and property was recovered. A keen and alert homeowner reported a burglary that had just occurred of his barn, the homeowner gave a vehicle and suspect descriptions. 911 broadcast the information to the responding deputies. Deputies located the vehicle traveling on Browns Lake Road near Edgewood and a traffic stop was made on the vehicle. The stolen property was visible in the back seat that the victim had described. The 37 year old Spring Arbor man who was the passenger was arrested on burglary charges and violations of Parole. The driver of the car, a 33 year old woman from Jackson was issued several citations for motor vehicle violations and possession of suspected Marijuana.
