Burglary of a Vehicle - Victim Injured When Confronting the Suspect: At approximately 11 AM on today, Wednesday November 12, an unknown white male suspect approximately 20-25 years old, arrived at Ryczek Electric located at 2725 W. Ferguson Rd. in Mt. Pleasant and committed a vehicle burglary. The suspect entered the cab of the victims vehicle and took a camera, laptop, and programming equipment valued around $5,000. The suspect left but returned approximately 30 minutes later and attempted to gain entry into the tool boxes on the truck with a hammer. The owner of the vehicle caught the suspect when he went back inside the cab of the vehicle, making contact with the suspect. The suspect would not respond to the owner and ignored him. A struggle ensued with the suspect while attempting to stop the suspect from stealing more items from the vehicle, resulting in injury to the victim. The suspect fled leaving in a early 90s model extended cab Chevrolet 1500 pickup, maroon in color, with a white tool box and black rack in the bed of the truck.
