Burkie is one of my best friends and when I got sick he was pretty emotional and always checked on me to see how I was doing while he was going through a much more serious battle for his life that has lasted more than 5 years. When people think im strong for continuing my health issues with somewhat of a smile on my face, I tell them to look at Burkie who has had a much longer, much harder battle and he still keeps going and now theres a light at the end of the tunnel for him....its not over but hes getting closer and hes my inspiration...I love the man.
