Burkina Faso Blue – Update 5 Have I mentioned yet that the African’s like to dance? Works just fine for our team because we really like to dance too! The past couple of nights our teams have gotten together with the youth from the church to learn dance and drama for our upcoming crusade (we actually taught them one of our drama’s too). Watching our kids try to learn...and mostly successfully so...African hip-hop has quite enjoyable for me...and thankfully they love it too. Even a couple of the senior staff joined in to learn as well. Unfortunately we were rained out this morning from going back to a small church we were ministering with yesterday. Our staff disciplers put together another great program where the Gospel was presented to over 50 people. We are really looking forward to going back tomorrow to finish our time there and sharing the Gospel again. If you remember, ask you student about the older gentleman that sang and danced for us. He was a hoot! The next few days of ministry should be very busy and rather exciting. Saturday we have a “jog” behind a truck playing music as part of our advertising for the crusade we will have in the middle of a sports field on Saturday and Sunday nights. Sunday morning the youth leaders of the church have been planning some sort of scavenger hunt for all of the youth...we’re not really sure what that means...but given how much our students enjoy scavenger hunts, we’ve kept that day a surprise. Sorry to not have notes from any of the students for you this time, but I’ll get more to you on Monday. We will also try to get another email to you from your student in the next day or two. Thank you for your patience with us in this. Blessings, Margaret PS. I hope that you have been enjoying starting and ending your day with thanksgiving as much as we have. I changed our prayer time from just a couple of people thanking God to everyone praying something they are thankful for and I can tell you, it’s made a difference. These kids are almost all smiles. I’ve said it before and I will probably say it a few more time, this team of young people is truly amazing.
