Burning Man Festival. I had not heard of it until I was here last year over Labor Day. It is held yearly in the Black Rock Desert about 20 miles outside Reno. There are 84,000 people in attendance with no water (bring your own). Porta potties, no shelters, no anything. I think it is like Woodstock with no music. People come from all over the world. I think it is to celebrate art and self expression. Google it . They will bUrn a huge effigy of a man. When they start leaving Monday you know which cars and which people were there. They are covered in alkaline sand. Unbelievable. We 4 old ladies decided Not To go. LOL. This was just to your educational benefit. No kidding Google it.
