Burnley manager Sean Dyche has set his sights on AZ Alkmaar - TopicsExpress

Burnley manager Sean Dyche has set his sights on AZ Alkmaar captain Nemanja Gudelj in an £8million January swoop, talkSPORT understands. The Clarets have struggled in their first season in the Premier League and the boss is targeting the Serbia international to add some steel to his midfield as he looks to steer his side clear of the drop. However, talkSPORT have been told Burnley will have tough job persuading the 23-year-old to trade Holland for Turf Moor, with the Lancashire side currently sitting third from bottom with just three wins so far this season. Gudel joined AZ from NAC Breda in 2013 and has nine senior caps for Serbia. And the Dutch top flight side will be desperate to hold on to their skipper as new coach John van den Brom hopes to lead the club into European football next season. https://youtube/watch?v=y9zxsrhTqhU
