Burnt Memories: This song was produced by my good friend, Nick Hiebert. And the very first song from FaithCorvis recorded as a band. I wrote this song because I was struggling with my anger and anxiety. And I was also in a very self destructive point in my life. I was in court for custody and struggled to be able to see my daughter. The chorus was originally blank, because I chose it to be a point in the song where I can breathe and think. But I added the chorus vocals at the studio and just sang into the mic I never wanna see that face again. Meaning I never wanted to see that angry person I was. People confuse this song as a Christian song or religious in some way, because at the end of the song Jesus, send an angel, Im waiting. But to me personally, thats my way of demanding some good. Hypothetically, asking for some sort of help within myself. This song is the most recognized, and people know it by name when I play it live. I also play this is an acoustic song, because it was written as an acoustic song. When its played acoustically, people can see my passion and struggle. And the part where I scream Jesus!, people scream it with me. And it gives me chills. I just love it. Thank you for your support. I love you all.
