Burrell J. Stewart SOURCE: Enterprise & Mountaineer DATE: October 15, 1879 DEATH OF ESQUIRE STEWART Burrell J. Stewart, Esq., one of the old and prominent citizens residing in the upper part of Greenville County, died on Monday, 6th inst.,of derangement of the stomach and liver, from which he had been suffering for some time past. He leaves a large family connection to mourn his death. He was upright and honest in all his dealings, and carries to the grave a stainless character and was in his 73d year. He was buried at Glassy Mountain Baptist Church. ___________________________________
