Bursaries Full-time Bursaries: 2014 The Department of Environmental Affairs is inviting full-time students to apply for bursaries,to be awarded in the 2014 academic year, in the following fields of study: BSc Environmental Science MSc / PhD Air Quality Management BSc Geo-informatics (GIS) Meteorology and Climatology Industrial and System Engineering Eco-toxicology BSc Chemistry / Applied Chemistry BSc Zoology and Botany Environmental Chemistry / Toxicology BSc Environmental Management / Law BSc Geology BA Law Masters / PhD Environmental Management BSc / Hons Environmental Management/ Science Masters Sustainable Development Hons / Masters Development Studies Resource Economics and Geography ND Environmental Health/ Environmental Science Environmental Planning BTech Marine Pollution Hons / MSc Mechanical Engineering BSc Marine Science M Tech/ PhD Oceanography M Tech/ PhD Chemical Oceanography BSc / Hons / M Sc / PhD Marine Biodiversity and Conservation BTech Biological Oceanography MSc Zoology / Marine Biology BTech/ M Tech Coastal and Environmental Research MSc Marine Pollution and Coastal Research MSc Estuarine Ecology and Function ND Horticulture ND Nature Conservation BSc Statistics BSc Biological Science Post-grad: Applied Chemistry/ Environmental Chemistry Consideration will be given to previously disadvantaged and South African students with disabilities who have successfully completed their first year of undergraduate study or those who are currently registered for postgraduate studies. However, strongly motivated applications from first-year students within the above mentioned fields of study will also be considered.
