Burts bees and my crispy lips... I dont wear makeup or lipstick, but cleaning out an old purse, I found some tinted Burts bees lip balm. I wore it one day when I was working in my booth at the mall - I dont know why. So my lips started peeling and I remember why I hated Burts bees stuff! It was days and no amount of good lip balm or chugging water was fixing the problem. Then my lips started getting hot and cracked. Thankfully there are 3 women I trust my lip balms to and Im back on the good stuff. I remembered my friend Mary Anne said she used my skin butter on her lips. So I slathered it on and got my lips as wet as I could so the lecithin would pull it under the skin. When the water evaporated/ sunk in, Id put more on and did that again and again. A few hours later I slathered more butter on, added the water and continued keeping the lips wet and by the end of the night, all peeling had stopped and the lip fever went away. Ahhh back to natural.
