Buses unable to serve Lead Road or Folly Lane at Greenside The width of a number of sections of roadworks on Lead Road at Greenside is now preventing buses from operating on normal route. Therefore we have had no alternative but to suspend services 10A & 11 from Lead Road or Folly Lane at Greenside at very short notice. Following discussion with Gateshead Council and the road contractors, the works timetable for this site has been amended to ensure that the larger excavations will be filled and re-surfaced and that buses will return to normal route from around lunchtime on Friday 28th June. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause, due to circumstances outside of our control.
