The BA will play an integral role in the strategy and development of the Science organization. They will provide guidance to business unit staff and will partner with senior business stakeholders to deliver projects. Performance Objectives: Execute Science projects Perform statistical / data / financial analyses Work with business stakeholders throughout projects Communicate and present effectively to small and mid-sized groups Collaborate on project teams made up of individuals from within Science team, and potentially externals Determine frameworks for addressing business problems, and collaborate with cross-functional partners to solve them Anticipate out-of-domain implications of current work; Understand the context in which it is imbedded and make appropriate decisions Develop company capabilities Stay abreast of relevant developments in the industry or relevant academic disciplines, and consider potential relevant opportunities for the company Explicitly target the upgrading of analytical capabilities, and the adoption of a science-driven approach, throughout the company Seek opportunities to cooperate with third parties to upgrade our own capabilities or access new distinctive data sources Qualifications A combination of operational and management consulting experience Capability to lead complex substantive analysis, including statistical models on large data sets Strong critical thinker with experience in pyramid, hypothesis-driven, problem analysis and communication Ability to deal with multiple high level stakeholders across departments at global level.
