Business Development Manager, Bahrain Sector: Banking Country: KINGDOM OF BAHRAIN Job Summary:- Our client, a prestigious financial organization is looking for a Business Development Manager to join their expanding team in Bahrain. Job Description:- The ideal candidate, who will be responsible for mentoring 2 to 4 junior staff, has to be a senior member of the team that plans, develops and implements a strategy in order to achieve the organisation’s business and strategic objectives of developing employment opportunities in Bahrain by encouraging the establishment/expansion of Financial Services organizations in the country. Responsibilities: Help manage an Investor Relationship Management Database for tracking, reporting and analyzing investment projects. Manage Projects and undertake marketing programmes to establish key relationships, as agreed with Head of Department. Represent Bahrain at meetings and conferences domestically and overseas with government officials, regulators, Ambassadors and international trade associations. Work with Global Marketing and Communications department to develop key messages, presentations and collaterals for the promotion of Bahrain Financial Services. Work closely with senior officers within the organization, CBB and Ministries to ensure there is no conflict of strategies and to look for ways to maximize Bahrain’s business proposition. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in a related Discipline from a highly reputable international academic institution with a record of high academic performance. At least 7 years progressive employment in financial sector, preferably in the Middle East, of which minimum 3 years of experience in a management or senior relationship role, creating relationships with senior stakeholders. IT proficient, familiar with Microsoft Office as well as possess excellent knowledge of marketing principles and CRM systems. Knowledge and understanding of global financial sector services and products/services within it.
