Business Development Manager Location: Work Remote from your home office or from the Corporate Headquarters Compensation: Up to $120,000 Base + Incentives and Benefits Position Description: My client, a leader in automotive and outdoor technology seeks a Business Development Manager. If you are an experienced pioneer in new sales channels and introducing exciting new consumer products, we may have the perfect opportunity for you. We are looking for a Business Development Manager for Marine, Lawn & Garden and Automotive Channels to join our sales and marketing teams. We are a company on the move and continue to evolve with the marketplace in the transformation of information and communications. Position Requirements: • Must have experience in selling in the Marine, Lawn & Garden, Hardware, Powersports or Automotive channels • Experience pioneering new channels Develops sales strategies for the channels including: • Driving awareness and sales in the channels • Pricing strategies • Developing and managing a manufacturer’s rep network • Identifying and attending key tradeshows to service in the channels • Identifying key marketing opportunities Education/Experience/Background • Candidate resides in the Northeastern Region of the US – preferred • Bachelor’s Degree in business or related field • Keen business acumen with creativity in achieving sales objectives • Minimum of 5 to 7 years of sales experience within channels listed above • Proven success in leadership, relationship-building and relationship management skills • Must have a proven track record of high sales performance, including meeting/exceeding sales goals • Requires high level communication skills (written/oral) as well as great presentation skills • Important to have the drive to succeed • Must able and willing to travel – approximately 70% • Passionate about sales and is motivated by getting the deal done • Hard working and diligent We offer a tremendous total compensation package.
