Business Strategies That Provoke God’s blessings. Let us first define what business really means because many people think that business is all about buying and selling (i.e. trading) alone. To simply define it, business is anything that keeps you busy taking your time, mental or physical energy and in return profits you. So whether you are a politician, a student, a banker, a teacher, a doctor, a pastor, an employer or a musician, whatever definite thing you are doing is your business. Whether you are selling goods of some kind or rendering services of some sort, you are in business. Let us now examine these three strategies that provoke the blessings of God in whatever your business may be in; 1.Strategy of diligence: once you can find a man diligent in his business it won’t take long he will begin to attract kings. Proverbs 22 vs. 29 (paraphrased by me). Whatsoever you are doing don’t be careless about it, don’t be lazy about it, put your mind into it, be faithful and put in your very best. God is attracted to the diligent, that little business would soon become a multinational through the instrumentality of diligence. The hand of the diligent shall bear rule. Proverbs 12 vs. 24. The hand of the diligent makes rich. Proverbs 10 vs. 4. The surest way to test if you are diligent or not is to check the time you get to work everyday. Do you arrive on time, before the time or late? Lateness is not diligence; the diligent always resume work on time. Practice promptness in everything you do and you will always make the best out of it. 2.Strategy of Charity: involving charity opens your business up for the constant visitation of God. Even unbelievers adapt this principle and are prospering through it. Its not just a social responsibility its a Godly principle that works for anybody or organization that applies it. Job was a business man and was also eyes to the blind, father to the fatherless and husband to the widows. He was a giver, he was a blessing. Job 29 vs.4 to 25, Abraham was liberal; he was taking care of strangers. If your business or organization will be involved in charity consciously then you will experience increase like you have never known. Let every taxi driver begin to carry one passenger free every week or day as his own part in charity, let every doctor attend to one patient free everyday or week. Let a percentage of your profit go to the orphanages, widows, orphans and homeless. In your respective capacity keep the charity strategy on and your business will know no limit. 3.Strategy of business/organizational tithe: does your business pay tithe? Does your organisation tithe? Your personal tithe is different from your company tithe.10 percent of the profit your organization/business make is your business tithe. It belongs to God Malachi 3 vs. 10. Abraham also paid tithe of his institution as he returned from war he paid the tithe of the spoils (proceeds/profits) to Melchisedec. Hebrews 7 vs. 1 to 7. JC Penny a renowned business man paid his business tithe right from when his business was still small. As the business grew he stopped tithing, so the business started falling until he started retithing and he got back on his feet. God will open doors for you as you apply these strategies; your business will begin to enjoy ideas that will rule the world in the name of Jesus.
