Busy Mom Erin asks: When do you put your young children to bed? I have three children ages 2-8 and bedtime is a constant struggle. From Heidi: Erin, I feel your pain! I bet these moms are going to have a lot of great collective wisdom for you but I would like to start by saying summer is a hard time to have a routine for bed. In the fall, we put our littlest (age 3) to bed at 7:00 p.m. and the rest follow in shifts, every 45 minutes or so. Our older teens police themselves to a large extent. I will admit that I will do almost anything to darken our toddlers room in the summer time. I love the 7:00 bedtime. Its not for her... its for me. :) What do YOU say, busy moms?
