Busy busy day! Lots of positive news/steps. Chris is still in the hospital and the tube is still in. He drained about four times the desired amount of fluid yesterday. The surgeon came by and said maybe the light suction might be to blame. So they have turned it off and scheduled xray for in the am. If he drains less then 100 ccs in 24 hrs. then they will remove the drain tube. Late this afternoon biopsy pathology came back. The nodules were inflammatory reaction to pneumonic activity....translation pneumonia was in the early stages. It just so happened we had testing that week which revealed it, normally you wouldnt know they are there and over time they go away. But they are gone and the fluid is cleared out so that is good. So we are switching back to oral anti-fungal, and doing another round of azithromyacin to make sure its gone. Probably go home a day or two after tube removed provided pain is managed (y if tube removed tomorrow). Definitely prayers answered with no fungal infection, no evidence of graft vs host in the lung, and no Hodgkins!!! Pain is still present but manageable. He has been trying to move about a little more. Prayers continue for pain management and forward progress!! ~Michelle
