Busy day at Council with some major decisions made. We approved support for the Land Use Recovery Plan (Lurp) subject to some provisions, made a whole swathe of board appointments, including to CCHL, and agreed an MOU with the Coastal Pathway Group. Its somewhat controversial but I believe its a good decision. We will be reviewing this as part of the general review of all our CCOs and CCTOs, which should be completed in the first half of 2014.
