Busy day today -- altered a bunch of sparkly things for a dancer client, and then patterned/cut/put together a slinky knit jacket/sweater for a different client to wear to a wedding. Then fittings. And tomorrow is another busy day -- getting thread from Treadle Yardgoods, picking up unspun wool from Steven Be, getting new calendar books (because I need them to keep my life together), AND doing some computer work for Ingebretsens. And then finishing a couple of projects. Busy is good, right? :D Thursday, though, Im at the State Fair in the Baa Booth (thats in the Sheep Barn, folks) showing people what spinning wool looks like, and maybe getting a few adventurous people to give it a try. And probably knitting a bit, too. Stop by if youre out! Were only there until 2 pm, because they shut down the barn to clean and swap out animals for the next round of shows. But well have a few folks there showing what wool ends up becoming once it comes off the sheep. See you there?
