Busy night for fires even though there was rain! 1130hrs Box 20-6, Baltimore City | DWELLING FIRE | 2400blk Allendale Road | Units arrived with smoke showing from the 2nd floor of a 3 story single-family dwelling. Fire was contained to the bedroom, searches negative. 0730hrs Northwest, Washington DC | COMMERCIAL FIRE | 5500blk 1st Street NW | Engine 14 requested the box filled out for smoke showing from 1st floor of a 1 story commercial building. Once entry was gained, E14 located the fire and quickly knocked it. The fire was brought under control in 20 minutes. 0530hrs Cherry Hill Box 58-14, Baltimore City | APARTMENT FIRE | 2400blk Marbourne Ave | Companies had fire in 1 apartment of a 2 story apartment building. 0320hrs Box 57-9, Baltimore City | 2ND ALARM | 6402 Chemical Road | Companies arrived to a 300 x 200 warehouse fully involved with explosions requesting the 2nd alarm on arrival. Command then requested 2 fireboats, hazmat and tower ladder. Shortly thereafter command gave a new size up which was a 30 x 50 shed fire. 0250hrs Lothian, Anne Arundel | DWELLING FIRE | 100blk A Street | Companies arrived to a 1 story double wide trailer with fire through the roof. 6/9 2145hrs Salisbury, Wicomico | DWELLING FIRE | 400blk S Park Drive | Companies arrived and had fire in 1 bedroom which they were able to contain with no extension. 1 person was transported to the hospital. No Further Info on the person transported. 2100hrs Southeast, Washington DC | APARTMENT FIRE | 3800blk South Capital Street SE | Companies arrived with a 3 story apartment building, smoke showing from the 3rd floor. Once gaining entry, crews located a good fire going in an apartment on the 1st floor. All searches were negative and fire was contained to the original apartment. 1530hrs Mount Airy, Frederick | HOUSE FIRE | 7700blk Harvest Hill Court | Chief 17 arrived to a 1 story single-family dwelling with heavy smoke showing. Crews gained access to the house and located a garage fire. After some quick work, command was able to scale the incident back to company 17. 1515hrs Chester, Queen Annes County | APARTMENT FIRE | Queen Elizabeth Court | Companies arrived to a 2 story apartment building with smoke showing from the attic. Fire was located and contained to 1 room. All searches were negative. 1500hrs Bethesda, Montgomery County | DWELLING FIRE | 6700blk Greyswood Road | E726 arrived with smoke showing from a 2 story split-level single family dwelling.
