Busy school day, yesterday. Dare got suspended for defending himself and his friends against a bully. One that didnt have a clue that what he was doing was bullying. I wonder if he does now? Complete and utter silliness. Then a note came home because a kid on one of the buses had a knife in his backpack. No info on why he had a knife or anything. Did he bring it to show off to friends, to harm someone, accidentally forgot it was in his bag? I realize all of this doesnt matter, that its wrong, period. Still,.a bit more info would be helpful. And I dayhe for all I know it could have been a girl. And I received the pto notice about sending in snacks for teacher snack day. I love teachers. I think they have the hardest and one of the most important jobs in the world. They deserve a snack day. However, the note requested salty and sweet. It said nothing about low fat or healthy. I hold teachers to the same standards that our children are held. I will be sending in low fat, healthy snacks. Having a cold not only makes me whiney, miserable and icky, it must make me a little testy as well.
