Busy weekend...Spent Saturday running all over getting the shopping done then down to Emerald Casino for a few hours. I have to wonder why none of the casinos have no-smoking Prives...do they think only smokers like to play high stakes? The main casinos A/C was having trouble coping with the heat but the A/C in the Prive was working so I went in there...Hubby was playing black jack in there. Between the choking smoke and the four young, extremely loud guys who came in, using their outdoor voices in the small Prive, I was glad to get out and go home. There is a reason that high stakes card games arent played in sports bars... On Sunday there was a sweet birthday party for 3 year old cousin in a park near a small lake: spent two hours under a sunshade on an overcast day and got up this morning looking like a boiled lobster (except for the white area around my eyes, thanks to my giant sunglasses). Hit a big patch of water on a curve in the Porsche yesterday...Hubby did a masterful job of steering it out of a hairy four-wheel slide...never even left the roadway...not even our own lane!
