But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtlety, so your minds should be CORRUPTED FROM THE SIMPLICITY that is in Christ” 2 Cor. 11:3 My friends, we must beware not to become beguiled by the brilliant speeches of modern-day manipulators! We must refuse to be deceived by people who claim to have been given privileged info into forbidden knowledge! Too often, we try to fathom the depths, while the Truth lays, right before our eyes on the surface! Beloved, when we commune with Jesus, let us wear the garments of SIMPLICITY; not the glittering clothes of blinding complexity! Believe Him to mean what He says! Take His promises as they stand! Receive His precepts in their plain meaning! for, if we do this, we shall obtain great wisdom! We must not confuse our minds with doctrinal puzzles; nor amuse our souls with spiritual riddles! Such things are no more than the mazes of men! We must not presume, assume, or try to concoct our own recipes of righteousness. Lets leave all the unholy hypotheses and critical conjecture to the serpent who first beguiled Eve. He sure dont need our help! “For our rejoicing is this, the testimony of our conscience, that in SIMPLICITY and godly SINCERITY, not with fleshly wisdom, but by the grace of God, we have had our conversation in the world” 2 Cor. 1:12 THE SIMPLICITY THAT IS IN CHRIST NEVER CORRUPTS!
