But I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not carry out the desire of the flesh. For the flesh sets its desire against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; for these are in opposition to one another, so that you may not do the things that you please. Gal. 5:16-17 There’s a constant battle going on between the Spirit and the flesh. We silence the flesh with our passions and desires of the things of the Spirit. If we continue to walk in the Spirit, we are feeding the Spirit and the flesh becomes weak. When we feed the flesh and starve the Spirit we live a defeated life. That’s when the Christian life seems to be boring because we are feeding the flesh. When we feed the Spirit and starve the flesh the Christian life becomes interesting and fun. It is through the power of the Spirit that we are able to live a victorious Christian life. Blessings!!!
