But Martha was distracted with much serving, and she approached Him and said, “Lord, do You not care that my sister has left me to serve alone? Therefore tell her to help me.....Luke 10:40 NKJV Landed in my hotel after a fairly tiring flight, put my things away because this will be the house for few days and picked up my bible to say thank you Lord and to ask what should I watch out for when doing my business in this complicated and competitive city....., I opened to this scripture. Luke 10 Ha! Ha! This is a great chapter oooo, because, if Jesus sent seventy and they came back with joy of Victory, that means you sent me here and Im going to get my Victory....He said that is not the issue, keep reading, and there comes the Samaritans parable and I said, I didnt come here with much money, so you are not going to ask me to give what I dont have, He said, NO! Keep on reading.....Bammm! Here comes Mary and Martha! And I said Lord, talk to me now and from that point, the tap of revelation opened....my sermon note held me down....that I missed my appointment forgetting Im in a new time Zone! One thing I will leave with you that He left with me for all my business meetings when Im in this place is that - If Martha can try to manipulate Jesus, playing on his emotion of CARE, then you better be ready when you engage a manipulating spirit in a venture. You might be living with one as a wife or husband, you might be sitting in the board room with one, the presence of Jesus doesnt intimate a manipulator, they are sitting on our church pews and on our pulpits, they are in every family. But in my sermon note I wrote - One thing is sure about a manipulator or a manipulating spirit...they always end up losing out, exposed in shame and trapped in their own craftiness. Therefore, Im ready to go into this meeting, knowing fully well that, if the manipulator cannot get me in Church, he cant get me in the board room........Lets Go! Did I bore you? Im sorry, you better be careful of this witchcraft called Manipulator!
