But we have the mind of Christ. 1 Corinthians 2:9-18 I believe that one of the main reasons so many true believers struggle with having assurance of their salvation is that they dont have a good understanding of the wonderful change God has made in their hearts when they first got saved. Many people get saved and then no ones takes the time or effort to properly disciple them in the Christian faith. Im sharing the verses above because they explain so well the difference between natural people (unsaved) and spiritual people (saved). Dont be fooled. Many lost people like to think they are spiritual, but without the Holy Spirit living in their hearts, they are spiritually dead inside. The same was true for all of us believers in Christ before we believed the simple truth of the Gospel and called on Jesus to save us. God used these verses to help me have the assurance I needed when the devil attacked me with doubts. I pray that he will do the same for any of you who also struggle with doubts of your own salvation.
