“But each day the Lord pours His unfailing love upon me, and through each night I sing His songs, praying to God who gives me life.” Psalm 42:8 New Living Translation (NLT) Our Heavenly Father has given us life. He knew us before we were even born. He loves us so much that He sent His only Son to be a ransom for many. All one has to do to receive God’s free gift of eternal life is to place one’s trust in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. Blaise Pascal once wrote, “There is a God shaped vacuum in the heart of every man which cannot be filled by any created thing, but only by God, the Creator, made known through Jesus.” There is no ritual or rite of passage just a simple profession of faith in Jesus Christ. I pray that you will give your heart to Jesus who gave His life for your and for me. The Father longs to redeem all of mankind, but He is a gentleman and will not force Himself upon you. It is you that must act out of an awareness that you are a sinner (we all are sinners), that you need a Savior (we all need a Savior) and that Jesus Christ was raised from the dead and conquered sin and death forever! By placing your trust in the living Savior, Jesus Christ who sits at the right hand of God the Father, you too will spend all of eternity in the presence of our Lord, Savior and King! You will grow is the knowledge of Him as you walk out the steps of your faith in Him in the here and now. I pray that you will trust in Christ as your Savior and soon coming King.
