But he that entereth in by the door is the shepherd of the sheep. - TopicsExpress

But he that entereth in by the door is the shepherd of the sheep. To him the porter openeth; and the sheep hear his voice: and he calleth his OWN sheep by name and leadeth them out. And when he putteth forth his own sheep, he goeth before them, and the sheep follow him: for they know his voice. And a STRANGER they WILL NOT follow, but will FLEE from him: for they know not the voice of strangers. ( John 10:2-5). The Jews wanted Jesus to remove their doubt by telling them who He was and He said to them, v 25-27- Jesus answered them, I told you and you believed not: the works that I do in my Fathers name, they bear witness of me. But ye believe not because ye are not of my sheep as I said unto you. My sheep hear my voice, and I know them and they follow Me. Jesus said that those who knew Him would follow Him and that they would run from a stranger. We should all only obey truth. We should not only believe every word of God, we should do it! Jesus will always lead us to do the will of God and obey Him. A stranger or false prophet, pastor or any false minister, will teach only false truths. But a true believer will only walk in truth; because that s how Jesus leads, only in His truth. True believers only want what the shepherd wants. They live to hear the shepherds voice so that they may be led according to His will. Their desire is to follow Him only. They begin each day purposing only to do His will. They have developed such an intimate relationship with Him that they know only His voice can be totally trusted. And because they know His voice so clearly, they recognize a counterfeit immediately; and they have no interest in what the counterfeit has to say and that is why they run from him. They take no chances of allowing any false doctrine or tradition of men to pollute their Spirit; so wisely they run from it; as far away from it as they can get. They know by the Spirit of the Shepherd Jesus, and the ministry of His Word, every need will be met; whether spiritual, physical, financial or any other need; Jesus will supply it. He is the trusted shepherd, who loves His sheep and they know He would give His life for them. The sheep will ALWAYS honor Him by letting the life He lived before them be the life they live before Him!! They separate themselves totally from the world and the people who live according to the world. They have no desire to lust after things; but only to do His will. So you must ask yourself; are you His sheep? Or; are you following a stranger and being led astray and walking in darkness? Jesus said, I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth His life for the sheep!! GLORY HALLELUJAH!!!
