But how to create a Palestinian state outside my window that could well be taken over by Hamas? How to share the governing of Jerusalem with a Palestinian state when we could wake up one morning and discover that we are sharing our capital city with a genocidal enemy? As if the Palestinians dont already see an Israeli state outside their window taken over by an increasingly fascist right, as if they dont wake up every morning to discover that their capital has been taken over by an enemy, not genocidal but certainly apt at cleansing? Yossi Klein Halevi tries to be right but he is so, so wrong.
