But the Lord inflicted serious diseases on Pharaoh and his household because of Abram’s wife Sarai. Hundreds of years later another Hebrew named Moses would approach the Pharaoh of Egypt to let God’s people go. The Bible tells us that God is not caught off guard by the course of history. On the contrary, He is the One who commands time, and He has left the stories of the Bible as a witness that He is involved in the affairs of mankind.
