But the Lord was with Joseph and showed him STEADFAST LOVE AND GAVE HIM FAVOR in the sight of the keeper of the prison. And the keeper of the prison put Joseph in charge of all the prisoners who were in the prison. Whatever was done there, he was the one who did it. The keeper of the prison paid no attention to anything that was in Joseph’s charge, because the Lord was with him. And whatever he did, THE LORD MADE IT SUCCEED. (Genesis 39:21-23 ESV) Daryl -this guy couldnt get a break...sold, enslaved, accused, imprisoned...but, it wasnt over yet. Gods favor was with Joseph very step of the way. You may have noticed by now that a lot of unfair things happen in life. If you havent noticed yet....well, thats another discussion. Today, you may be in the grips of fear and anger over the unfairness or constant assault on everything and everyone you hold dear. I believe that God is with you to bring success out of the place of hopelessness. To bring light in your darkness, joy in your sorrow, peace in your storm and supply where there are only empty wells. God loves you. Hes not and at you. Today could be the day when you heard the rest of your story. You know, the part where the prison doors swing open, the part where the heavens open up and rain on your parched ground. The part of the story where you succeed in everything you put your hand to. Today could be the day. Why not. Is anything too hard for our God?
