Butterfly Myth…… Most of my friend must have heard about the mythological butterfly which appeared at a Mukam (shrine) near Sonabarighat and its related stories. I was on my way home and was greatly confused by the crowd gathered there; I thought it may be due to some dispute but later on came to know that a BUTTERFLY with image of human face on its wings appeared from somewhere which is claimed by the Mukam authority to be divine form of some great saint sent by GOD. And the crowd gathered there to get a glimpse of that so claimed divine butterfly and present their offerings. The thing that surprised me the most is how fraud people can be with their religion and how stupid and superstitious we can be. The butterfly which appeared at the Mukan is called “MADAGSCAN MOON MOTH” Found mostly in Africa and rain forests of other part of the world. My writing is not to hurt any religious sentiments, as for myself I Am also a Muslim By faith, but the thing that hurts me the is how these frauds are making fool of us simply to get money out of us in the name of Religion… My friends reading this may search in Google by the name “MADAGSCAN MOON MOTH” and confirm themselves.
