Buttermilk Biscuits Recipe Ingredients: 4 Cups All Purpose Flour 2 tablespoons Baking Powder 1 teaspoon salt 1 teaspoon Baking Soda 2 tablespoons sugar 1 Cup Butter 1 ½ Cup Buttermilk Cookie sheet and parchment paper Directions: Preheat oven to 400*F Line your cookie sheet with a piece of parchment paper as this will keep your biscuits from sticking to the pan and makes for much easier clean up….. I large bowl mix together Flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and sugar. Using a pastry knife, cut butter into flour till blended well, or, you can use 2 forks. Upon mixing well dry ingredients, using a large spoon, pour buttermilk into dry mix and blend thoroughly. Some dry mix will remain, however, not to fear. Just use your hands to blend completely and then kneed only a couple minutes and form a ball. Put out onto flour or like I did, I used parchment paper instead of flour; easier clean up and quicker too. Pat out until dough is about an inch or so think, then, using the soup can you cut both ends out of cut out your biscuits with it. You will need to fold the dough all back together and make another ball patting it out to about an inch or so thick to make the rest of your biscuits. As in the pic, you will have just a small amount left over, don’t fret. Bake @ 400*F oven for 15 minutes. Remove from oven and let cool, then just serve….ENJOY
