Buyer and I could not agree, so this is still on the market. List of improvements to this house since I’ve been in it (2001)… Chimney cap added, gutters replaced or repaired on house and garage, new bathroom (all fixtures, tile, floor), removed all old carpet and replaced damaged flooring in places (termites), sanded floors, finished floors, new light fixtures all rooms, new light switches, new outlet covers, new range hood, range, fridge, kitchen floor, cabinet tops, windows (all), new dryer (electric) with new 220V wiring, new back deck, new front steps, front door (custom handmade oak), weatherproof outlets outside (front and back) storm doors (custom front glass), outside lights, paved driveway, sistered floor joists, new bathroom, planted fruit trees. And of course the garage repairs, new joists, siding, access door… I also had the basement oil tank removed and glass-block windows installed down there replacing the old coal door and iron-frames windows. The house isnt perfect, as no house built in 1936 will be, but its a great place. Good vibe.
